LExD is an inclusive, affirming afterschool community for Lincoln students in grades K-5.

The mission of the Lincoln Extended Day Program is to provide a safe, supportive environment during after-school hours that fosters children’s emotional, physical, and creative growth. Children in our program spend their afterschool time building and maintaining positive, healthy relationships, and strengthening self-confidence through a wide variety of materials, activities, and challenges.

Staff and curriculum at Lincoln Extended Day teaches accountability and respect for both self and community, and encourages children to make healthy choices, explore interests, and learn effective methods of conflict resolution.

Lincoln Extended Day also works closely with the classroom teachers and families of its students in order to provide the best and most consistent care possible.
